Description

A map with table of contents of the plan for the battlefield of Summit Springs in northeastern Colorado, on Sunday, noon, July 12, 1869. This battle was between the 5th U.S. Cavalry Regiment, together with Pawnee Indian scouts, against Cheyenne Indians. The map was drawn by Hercules Horn Price in 1910. Price once served with the 5th U.S. Cavalry.
